Fresh Kicks is Clare's cleanest, brightest white, like a favorite white pair of sneakers right out of the box. This is a true, crisp white with no undertones, reading fresh and modern rather than warm or cool. Because it stays perfectly neutral, it delivers the sharp, gallery-clean look that a white with hidden beige, gray, or blue simply cannot.
At an LRV of 95, Fresh Kicks is about as light and reflective as paint gets, bouncing maximum light to make a room feel open, airy, and bright. One important thing to know before you buy: Fresh Kicks is untinted, and that lack of pigment is exactly what makes it so pure. It also means it can need three to four coats for full, even, professional coverage, especially over darker or previously colored walls. Planning for the extra coats is the key to getting that flawless, true-white finish.
The neutral base makes Fresh Kicks the most flexible white in the line: it pairs cleanly with any color, works on walls, trim, and ceilings, and can even be mixed into another Clare color for a lightened custom shade. It works in modern and minimal spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, trim and ceilings throughout a home, and anywhere a crisp, uncomplicated white is the goal. Pair it as trim against a saturated wall color for maximum contrast.
