Field Trip is a deep, adventurous forest green that brings the outdoors in. This is a rich, classic forest hue with a natural olive character, capturing the depth and calm of a walk through the woods. It reads moody and grounding while still feeling lively, which is why owners describe it as both dramatic and fun rather than heavy.
At an LRV of 13, Field Trip is the deepest of Clare's forest greens, a genuinely dark, light-absorbing color that wraps a room in richness. Worth knowing before you buy: several owners found the color hard to read on a screen and even in the can, then loved it once it was on the wall, where its olive-forest character truly comes alive. In bright, natural light it shows its greenest, most forest-like side, while in lower or evening light it deepens into a moody near-black green. As a deep color, plan for two coats for the fullest result.
The cool, olive-forest base pairs beautifully with warm and crisp whites, natural wood, brass, and warm neutrals, and it makes furniture and decor pop against it.
