There are no words that can adequately describe how much I love Clare paint, in particular, the beautiful Snow Day color! WOW OH WOW!!!
I really appreciated the other reviewers’ comments and wanted to share my Clare paint journey in detail as it can be a bit of a challenge to order paint colors online, although Clare makes it as easy as is possible!
I originally went with Whipped for our full condo remodel, which is also a beautiful color, but it ended up being a bit too warm for our space. We live in the San Diego area in a north-south facing, interior-unit condo, not too far from the coast. Our condo has only seven windows and two skylights total, so keeping things light, bright, and cheerful was important for my husband and me.
Based on the website description and how the sample colors read in my home, I thought Snow Day would be too cool, but that turned out not to be the case at all. Whipped looked quite yellow in some parts of my condo after painting took place, particularly in the kitchen area on the north side of the condo. What made me become open to changing to Snow Day was Clare's ceiling paint, which is closest to Snow Day according to the website. I kept looking up at the ceiling paint thinking, “I really like what’s up there!” We used mostly matte black lighting/hardware finishes in our home, and Whipped didn't give us the black/white contrast we wanted.
My husband and I both agreed that we should go for it and switch to Snow Day for the walls before moving…
