Headspace

We converted our cluttered guest room into a “zen den” for yoga, my desk, and bought a Lori Murphy bed for the few times we do have guests. Because the murphy bed acts as a shelf most of the time, I wanted that to pop apart from the wall color. I decided to paint that and match the doors, window, and floor board trim in this color. I bought wall paint for the Murphy bed, and trim paint for the trim.. we love how it turned out! It’s unique (I have not painted trim a fun color before), and it really makes the shelf/bed pop without standing out awkwardly from the rest of the room. I used Clare paint primer (1 layer) with 2 layers of Headspace for everything. One coat would not be enough. I couldn’t sand our doors or trim bc it’s a 100 year old home with some lead based paint we detected. One month in, so I’m hoping it doesn’t chip and stays fresh for a long time. Two photos show daytime and nighttime. Highly recommend Headspace, Clare paint (love that it’s all shipped to me), and painting trim a fun color! The color swatches were a true match and low/no VOC was very important to me since we have kids.
