Irony is Clare's deepest gray, a rich charcoal inspired by the color of iron that reads dramatic and grounded without crossing into near-black. The cool undertone keeps the gray clean and pure rather than warm or brown-biased, giving it a quality reviewers describe as "dark but not too dark" — the language people reach for when a color has real depth and presence without feeling oppressive.
At an LRV of 17, Irony absorbs most light in a room and creates a rich, enveloping atmosphere.
