We’re big fans of PureWow, we love a good podcast and we LOVE a good before and after room transformation. So when we learned PureWow was debuting a series of new podcasts and revamping their podcast studio with the help of Decorist and designer Max Humphrey, we knew this was going to be good! What made it even better? Max used our paint color, Good Jeans in the project which helps set the tone for the design, making the space feel vibrant and fresh.
Here’s a peek at what the space looked like before: Talk about drab! The space had a lot of unique requirements including maintaining the blah-looking soundproof wall covering and carpet which made this quite the design challenge.
Luckily, Max is a pro and did an incredible job transforming this sad sight into a stunning studio fit for all the distinguished guests who’ll be stopping by to tape their podcasts episodes.
Max completely reworked the layout, dividing the space into two separate zones with a custom, rolling partition, painted in Good Jeans as the room’s focal wall.
He brought the space to life by adding rich layers, such as a gorgeous moroccan-inspired rug, a mix of textiles, prints, and patterns, plus stylish accessories for the perfect finishing touch. It’s amazing how a little paint and a whole lot of creativity can completely transform a space. We’re in love with the end result!
