Design Trade Partner Program

Thanks for your interest in Clare's Design Trade Partner Program!

As a company founded by an interior designer, we're thrilled to work with design trade professionals to help bring your projects to life.

Eligible partners (if you're an interior designer, architect, home stager, general contractor, or any other accredited design trade professional, you're eligible!) receive exclusive pricing on all merchandise, complimentary color tools, and a dedicated account rep. To apply, please complete the application, below. We look forward to working with you!

Program FAQs

  • If you're an interior designer, architect, home stager, general contractor, or any other accredited design trade professional, you can apply by completing the form above and submitting supporting documentation to validate you as a trade professional.

  • All Clare products are part of our Trade Partnership.

  • Yes. We ship everywhere in the United States except Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. (for now!)

  • At this time, there are no minimums to be eligible for our beta Trade Partnership.

  • So glad that you're interested in our Design Trade Partner Program! To apply, fill out our online form and present at least two of (2) the following:

    • Business card indicating the applicant’s name and trade profession
    • Business license or resale certificate showing proof of a design-based business
    • Valid Membership card from one of the following Professional Trade Association including:
      • AIA (American Institute of Architects)
      • APLD (Association of Professional Landscape Designers)
      • ASID (American Society of Interior Designers)
      • ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects)
      • CID (Certified Interior Decorators International)
      • IDS (Interior Design Society)
      • IIDA (International Interior Design Association)
      • NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association)
      • A staging organization, such as ASP, HSR, IRIS or IRN
  • We provide our Design Trade Partners with exclusive color cards showing our perfect palette of 55 timeless colors. We're currently working on additional color tools and can't wait to share them with you!

    While we don't offer paint samples, we've made testing colors a paint-free and pain-free process. Our innovative Perfect Color Swatch lets you sample colors in an instant — just peel and stick. Better than a tiny paint chip, and way easier (and less expensive) than messy sample pots. Shipping for swatches is always on us!

  • No. We want to stick true to our mission to cut through the color clutter, so we do not offer color matching at this time.

  • Our Trade Crew is here to help you. Email us at trade@clare.com and your dedicated account team will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • At this time, you must place all Trade orders by emailing us at trade@clare.com. We're working on allowing Partners to place Trade orders online and we'll keep you posted when that's available.

  • You must use the credit card and billing address registered to your Trade Partnership account to place a Trade Order and receive the discount.

  • Yes, we will charge sales tax where required by law and we do not currently offer tax exempt purchasing at this time.

  • We ship from the East Coast and orders placed before 2pm EST usually ship out same day. During periods of high demand, processing time at our warehouse may take up to 2 business days.

    Swatch orders ship via USPS First Class Mail with a standard transit time of 2 to 5 business days.

    Paint orders ship via UPS Ground and transit time to most of the US is 3 business days or less. West coast orders may take an extra day or two.

    Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking info so you can check on your delivery status.

  • Given our exclusive pricing discounts, we're unable to accept most returns unless product has been damaged in transit. However, our paint is backed by our Happiness Guarantee, so if you're unhappy with your paint, email us at trade@clare.com and we'll make it right. Note that Perfect Color Swatches are final sale.

  • Yes! If you are purchasing products for individual homes, then products will be covered under our Limited Warranty. For more detailed information, please visit our warranty page here.
