  • About the Opportunity:

    Reporting to and working directly with the CEO, you’ll be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting. Through this work you’ll deliver insights to help us drive future growth and you’ll work closely with the CEO on shaping the strategic direction of the company. You’ll also lead Clare’s revenue generating activities and their interaction with the operations of the business.

    What You'll Do

    • Own ongoing management of comprehensive three-year strategic financial plan and model.
    • Provide strategic thought leadership and analyses that identify trends and areas of opportunity across the business, and communicate actionable, recommendations for growth and optimization.
    • Deliver weekly business performance updates, monthly performance analyses and a quarterly forecast, with full ownership of our P&L.
    • Partner with accounting service provider to ensure accuracy and predictability of financial reporting and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Conduct monthly variance analyses with support from accounting and draw conclusions on significant deviations from plan.
    • Partner with the CEO and accounting team on capital strategy and working capital requirements.
    • Support the creation of monthly investor updates and fundraising presentations as well as support with ad hoc investor diligence requests.
    • Work with CEO & marketing partners to define the company’s customer growth plan and acquisition strategy, identifying areas of opportunity to optimize our revenue funnel and improve sales/marketing efficiency and process effectiveness.
    • Help identify our most scalable paid acquisition channels and make recommendations to double-down on winning channels and kill campaigns and channels that aren’t showing traction.
    • Develop a roadmap for healthy and sustained revenue growth; set targets in sales, marketing, and operational support, and ensure cross-functional accountability.
    • Establish reporting processes and KPI framework that allows teams to track performance against targets.

    You Meet the Following Qualifications

    • 5+ years’ experience in retail/eCommerce industry
    • Experience in business planning and eCommerce strategy, execution, and analytics within an eCommerce business
    • Strong, analytical financial modeling and presentation skills
    • Deep understanding of customer acquisition strategies
  • About the role

    We’re looking for a Head of Content with a proven track record of developing and executing content strategy that drives brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement. You’ll bring the Clare voice to life by creating clear and compelling content across channels. Our ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats and is both creative, yet analytical with the ability to use data and insights to continually optimize our strategy and performance. As Clare’s storyteller, you’ll play a critical role in organic marketing and have a direct impact on our growth. This role is a full-time, salaried position at our New York City headquarters.

    What you’ll do

    Content Strategy

    • Develop the blueprint for our organic content strategy across all owned channels to drive brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, website traffic, and sales.
    • Build and manage a robust content calendar based around brand initiatives, editorial themes, and cultural moments.
    • Develop channel-level KPI targets and measure/analyze performance on a weekly and monthly basis.

    Social Media Management

    • Manage and maintain all of Clare’s social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Linkedin)
    • Manage daily social media content scheduling and posting with content tailored to individual channels.
    • Lead content ideation and production and write engaging copy for social feeds that reflects our brand voice.
    • Curate and manage outreach of user-generated content.
    • Support day-to-day community management by engaging with followers, re-sharing content, proactively participating in conversations, and finding ways to surprise and delight our customers online.

    Editorial & Email

    • Oversee our email calendar and process workflow, ensuring content is aligned with brand and business objectives.
    • Develop copy & content for email newsletters.
    • Oversee our online editorial destination, working to develop the right content mix and leading the creation of all content.
    • Write compelling editorial content for our blog, ensuring it is optimized for social and search.
    • Manage third-party collaborators to support the creation of content.

    Influencer Relations

    • Develop an influencer strategy and build relationships to drive awareness, audience growth, and engagement.
    • Develop strategic influencer partnerships and activations that help amplify our brand message and generate high-quality content for our channels.

    Who you are

    • Equipped with 5+ years of experience leading and creating content for a brand or digital media outlet.
    • Hyper creative with a knack for storytelling, an eye for photography, and the ability to art direct visual content.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to drive projects from strategy to execution.
    • Proactive problem solver who’s comfortable rolling up her sleeves and doing whatever it takes.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
    • Strong copywriting, editing, and communications skills.
    • Passionate and knowledgeable about home & design.

  • About the Role

    We’re on the hunt for a rockstar sales and operations intern for the Winter-Spring 2019 semester. You’ll help support our customer experience function including managing relationships with architects and interior designers and help to shape the growth of our business. We offer valuable experience, hourly pay or school credit, plus a fun, diverse and collaborative working environment.

    What You’ll Do

    • Research and identify new leads
    • Make a high volume of daily outreach to members of the trade (designers, architects, etc.)
    • Assist with account approvals and communication
    • Assist with product inquiries, managing orders, and building strong relationships with key accounts
    • Conduct customer consultations, providing customers with overall design and color advice
    • Help to analyze success metrics and track progress against our goals

    • Assist with editorial calendar planning

    • Support day-to-day social media management including curation of user generated content, scheduling posts and engaging with our community across all social channels
    • Support team in tracking metrics and compiling weekly analytics reports
