  • About the opportunity

    We’re looking for an exceptional growth marketer to lead and scale our customer acquisition efforts across all paid and non-paid digital channels including SEO/SEM, display, social, email and more. In this role you’ll set strategies, own execution, analyze performance and inform decisions for how, when, and where to spend our budget. You’ll also proactively identify new online and offline growth channels to test. Your work will enable us to achieve revenue targets, continuously improve KPIs and you’ll have a direct impact on the growth trajectory and success of the company. The ideal candidate is highly data-driven with the ability to deliver insights that optimize business performance. This role reports to our CEO.     What you’ll do

    • Define and develop a data-driven, scalable multi-channel marketing strategy to drive growth through channels including, but not limited to SEO/SEM, paid social, display, video, referral and affiliate
    • Own the relationship and collaborate with external agency partners, working to ensure they’re aligned with our overall business strategies and goals and driving results
    • Work with internal and external creative partners, generating briefs and helping to drive the development of campaign assets
    • Make strategic recommendations on how to spend our marketing budget as well as tactics to optimize channel performance and drive efficient customer acquisition
    • Own and project manage testing of creative, landing pages and audiences to improve conversion and scale campaigns efficiently and also execute testing plans for new/emerging ad formats and channels
    • Help define and execute our email marketing & retention strategy to increase customer loyalty and revenue growth
    • Develop an efficient email process workflow that enables turnkey execution of email campaigns & programs with a focus on continuous KPI improvement
    • Compile, track, and analyze all digital marketing performance in weekly and monthly business reports, making actionable recommendations to optimize performance
    • Provide strategic thought leadership and analyses that identify trends and areas of opportunity across channels, and translate data into actionable, recommendations for growth and optimization.

    • Self-directed with the ability to create processes, iterate and develop solutions to new and ongoing business challenges
    • A desire to do both strategic planning as well as hands-on strategy implementation and daily execution
    • You’re highly analytical with the ability to turn insights into actionable changes that optimize performance
    • Operate with a bias for action and a continuous focus on driving results
    • You’re a subject matter expert in all things digital marketing with a strong knowledge of digital ad platforms, industry best practices, and best-in-class tools and software
    • You’re comfortable wearing many hats and overseeing both strategy and execution in the beginning as we operate lean and equally excited to evolve your role and build and manage a team as we grow
    • Collaborative, energetic and detail-oriented team-player

    You meet the following requirements

    • 4+ years of digital marketing experience at a growth phase consumer e-commerce company and a proven track record of scaling growth
    • Solid understanding of direct-response and performance marketing with prior success implementing customer acquisition campaigns tied to clear business objectives and targets
    • Well versed in performance tracking and measurement tools with expert fluency in Google Analytics
    • Ability to manage large datasets and perform both qualitative and quantitative analysis
    • A solid understanding of advertising and e-commerce metrics
    • Familiarity with offline acquisition channels a huge plus
    • Exceptional communication skills with a confident ability to present your work with thoughtful frameworks and context.

  • About the opportunity

    • Work alongside the founder/CEO & founding team
    • Support ongoing business reporting, analysis, and insights focused on quarter Objectives & Key Results
    • Conduct product spend analysis and lead a strategic sourcing project focused on packaging
    • Develop a contract manufacturing strategy including business case analysis and implementation timeline
    • Optimize current inventory planning processes and build a foundation for a future Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process including due diligence on future platforms and tools

    You meet the following requirements

    • MBA student
    • A 4-6 month commitment
    • Based in NYC & able to work in person at least 2-3 days/week
    • Interest in home improvement and design
