Clare has many years of experience in high-voltage wafer processing for the telecommunications central office market with a 350V BCDMOS Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) process. Devices from this high-voltage process, such as the Line Card Access Switch (LCAS) IC, are a key enabler for high-density line cards offering greater levels of board integration. Building on this success, Clare has launched products to support the high-voltage analog switch and electroluminescent display markets.

CPC7220/CPC7221 Low Charge Injection 8-Channel High Voltage Analog Switch - The CPC7220 and CPC7221 are low charge injection 8-Channel high-voltage analog switch integrated circuits (IC). These devices are capable of switching large load voltages and have a flexible load voltage range, e.g. +40V/-160V or
+100V/-100V. Switch manipulation is managed by an 8-bit
serial-to-parallel shift register whose outputs are buffered and stored by an 8-bit transparent latch. Level shifters buffer the latch outputs and operate the high-voltage switches. Devices are packaged in 44-pin J-leaded Plastic Chip Carriers, 28-pin PLCCs (Plastic Leadless Chip Carriers.

CPC6826 High Voltage EL Lamp Driver - The CPC6826 is an electrolumiscent (EL) lamp driver designed for applications operating from an input supply voltage range of 1.8V to 3.5V. The architecture features an integrated boost switching supply with an H-Bridge driver circuit to illuminate the EL lamp. Three passive components, an inductor, a capacitor, and a diode are required to complete the boost switcher circuit. The internal high-voltage
H-Bridge provides a nominal +/-75V output. The device is packaged in an 8-pin MSOP package (Miniature Small Outline Package).
