The MXED401 (Data Sheet) display driver IC targets the non-volatile, reflective LCD market, specifically bi-stable and multi-stable Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Displays (ChLCD). The cascadable MXED401 features 200 phase-controlled voltage data outputs, a built-in voltage regulator to minimize input power supply requirements, and a 2.5 V to 5 V logic supply. Precise multi-level grayscale performance and bidirectional serial programmability (BDSP) are supported. Manufactured in a high voltage (30 V) CMOS process, the MXED401 is available in gold-bumped-die form. .
