Clare Expands Opto-Isolator Family with
New High-Voltage Single and Dual Optocouplers!
The CPC1301 and CPC1302 Darlington Output Devices
Target High-Voltage Telecom Switching and Industrial Markets
May 22, 2007–Beverly, Massachusetts, USA – Clare, Inc., an IXYS company (NASDAQ: IXYS – News), announces the immediate availability of their new 4-pin, 5000Vrms isolation barrier CPC1301 and 8-pin, 3750Vrms isolation barrier CPC1302 high-voltage single and dual optocouplers. These devices provide an optically isolated solution for switching control circuits.
The CPC1301's and CPC1302's low input current (1mA), high current transfer ratio (1000%-8000%), high output voltage capability (350V), and extended isolation barrier ratings make them ideal for many applications such as telecom switching, industrial, and power controls.
The CPC1301 is a unidirectional optocoupler with high-voltage Darlington output. Light output from the highly efficient GaAlAs infrared LED activates the optically coupled silicon NPN photo-Darlington output. The input LED and the photo-Darlington output are separated by a 5000Vrms isolation barrier.
The CPC1302 is a dual optocoupler with two identical, independant channels, each having a unidirectional input, a high-voltage Darlington output, and a 3750Vrms isolation barrier.
Both devices are fully RoHS and EN/IEC 60950-1 compliant.
Availability
The CPC1301 4-pin, 5000Vrms single optocoupler, and the CPC1302 8-pin, 3750Vrms dual optocoupler are available in full production quantities with a 4-week lead-time.
